Carved from one solid block of natural rose quartz, this 13-inch Lord Ganesha is the centerpiece of the collection. The stone's blush-pink translucence glows when it catches natural light, giving the figure a warmth that painted or cast statues simply cannot reproduce.
The artisan has worked the seated Ganesha in full detail, the curved trunk, the fan of the ears, the layered dhoti folds and the ornamental crown, set on a lotus pedestal with a carved arch rising behind the shoulders. Rose quartz is a demanding stone to carve at this scale, and pieces of this height in clean color are uncommon.
