A 10-inch Buddha hand-carved from natural blue quartz, a soft periwinkle-to-slate stone with cloudy internal drifts that give the figure a luminous, almost weathered quality.
The Buddha is shown with hands joined at the chest in namaskar mudra, a mala draped across the fingers, robes falling in fine parallel folds, and a spiked halo radiating behind the head. Attendant detailing is worked into the base beneath. The carving stays crisp through the smallest elements: the beads, the finger joints, the halo points.
